Healing Through Yoga: A Trauma-Informed Workshop
In a world that often feels overwhelming, trauma can take root in the body, mind, and spirit—leaving us feeling disconnected, anxious, or numb. This trauma-informed yoga workshop is a safe, supportive space designed to gently reconnect you with your body, build resilience, and cultivate healing through mindful movement, breathwork, and presence.
With slow, intentional movement, conscious breathing, and mindfulness practices, we can begin to gently release stored tension, reconnect with our inner world, and rebuild trust in our own bodies.
The workshop includes:
• A grounding introduction to trauma and its impact on the nervous system
• Guided breathwork and meditation for nervous system regulation
• A trauma-informed yoga sequence focused on grounding and self-compassion
• Somatic awareness practices to enhance body-mind connection
• Opportunities for optional journaling, reflection, and sharing
